Why not try to install on your Mac. All Steam games available. You need Mac OS X 10.6 or later, as I understand it.
Where does it talk about Macs for SteamOS? Also, the performance reviews for SteamOS all say that SteamOS performes worse than Windows 10, some saying you'll get substantially lower frame rates depending on the game. It looks like the better option would be to install Windows 10 using Bootcamp assistant. Of course the thing to point out here is that Unity 5 supports all kinds of platforms.

Rollercoaster Tycoon On Mac Steam For Mac
Yes, it will take some time to alter some coding and testing etc. But in theory it wouldn't be that difficult to make a mac version. Mattlab even hints at this in the PAX stream.
I'm guessing we'll get mac (and maybe consol versions) 6 months after PC release. Mattlab said they've already been working on a controller UI for the steam box so a consol version would would also make sense. I think RCT gamer is talking about Steam Link. I looked around for Steam OS for mac and it doesn't seem to exist (yet).
Mainly because of the booting method. Steam Link doesn't offer an OS. It's just a device that streams what's going on your computer to your TV.
So it still needs a PC to process a PC game. Although that device is on my wish list;-).
I agree with the 6-12 month period (wishfully hoping it's 3-12 months haha). I'm not a huge fan of booting windows on my mac, especially when it means that I have to dedicate my already limited space on my computer for it although I have done it. I am 90% sure we'll have a Mac version, I just wanted this thread to show Atari how many of us are out there so hopefully it will raise that 90% to a 100%. I hope my current Mac can handle the graphics haha. I think RCT gamer is talking about Steam Link. I looked around for Steam OS for mac and it doesn't seem to exist (yet). If You look at the it took me seconds to find the processor in one of the models: Intel Xeon E5 with 10MB L3 cache and Turbo Boost up to 3.9GHz.
Even better Macs exists. No problems to run RCTW, after installed Steam OS or Windows. You don't need 'Steam OS for Mac'. If You are dissatisfied with Steam OS, then install Windows. I have no Mac myself but I've seen my friends run both Windows and PC programs successfully on Macs with Intel processors. I suggested Steam OS, because I thought it maybe was easier to install than a bootable Windows.
It's not difficult to google some tips about it. How useful they are, I don't know, sorry. Running RCTW on Mac for Dummies, are very much needed to be written.
Edit: Running RCTW on Windows for Dummies would be something for me!

Thanks so much for your help. However, I am using a Macintosh computer and this video appears to be for a PC. I don't see any of the folders that you listed and there was no 'read me' file. What I really need is for someone who owns a mac to try and download this set and walk me through installation.

A user on the RCTGo forums said the way to get to the Style/Themed folder is trough is way: 'Basically, if you open finder and go to applications, you will see the RCT3 Platinum logo.
Right click it and click show package contents. Then, you want to click on 'Contents', then 'GameData', then scroll down and click on 'Style', then 'Themed' and there you are Smile Be sure to remove any extra files on your CC to avoid the dreaded 'no:svd for:sid' error!' If you are still experiencing trouble, try some of these videos. They're old, but I don't think the interface of the Mac OS has changed that much over the years.
